My Tango Bag Essentials

I am a bit of a tango bag maximalist(despite the fact that I really only use a few items at any given tango event) and carry many options and products in case I ever need them. My must haves are underlined and the rest are great to have if needed!

  1. The Bag

    1. I like a duffle bag - more secure than a tote and more accessible than a backpack

      1. Dagne Dover - Landon Carryall

  2. Medical/Physical Care Supplies

    1. small pack of ibuprofen

    2. foot roller

    3. Band-Aids

    4. blister tape

    5. kinesiology tape

    6. tiger balm(camphor and menthol)

    7. lotion

  3. Shoes

    1. two different styles of heels and a pair of flats

    2. shoe brush

    3. baby powder(to make sticky floors smooth)

    4. moleskin(to make sticky floors smooth)

  4. Clothing

    1. a set of comfy clothes to change into

    2. extra tango outfit

    3. jacket/cardigan

    4. fashion tape/mini sewing kit with scissors

    5. extra earrings

  5. Others

    1. reusable water bottle/mug

    2. gum/mints - eclipse mints

    3. hair supplies to put hair up - nothing worse than sweaty hair sticking to my face and neck

    4. wallet/cash in the local currency

    5. snack - power bars and dried fruits

    6. folding hand fan - way more useful than you think they'll be

    7. small personal hygiene kit - mini toothbrush/toothpaste, mouthwash, Vaseline, perfume, dry shampoo, skin/makeup wipes to refresh

    8. makeup minis if needed - eyebrow gel, mascara, eyeliner, bb cream/foundation powder, and a blender
